How GoaAlerts uses data.

What the site collects

Our hosting provider receives normal technical requests needed to serve the pages. We use Plausible Analytics for page views and limited interaction events, including planner use and clicks on partner links. Event details are limited to page path and broad labels such as guide, offer or referral source; we do not send your name, email, phone number or trip budget in these events.

The Find My Goa form runs in your browser. It does not require an account. The site stores only your last broad match and three selected preferences in your browser's local storage so you can share or revisit a result. Optional trip details such as budget, travel month and number of children are not sent by the planner to our server.

Why we use it

We use aggregate site and interaction data to understand which guides help visitors and whether readers choose to visit a booking partner. The site does not currently send flight alerts, SMS messages or personalised marketing emails.

Partners and external sites

Booking links pass through Travelpayouts and may lead to Klook, Aviasales, EKTA or another provider shown on the exit page. We also load the Travelpayouts Drive script on public content pages. Depending on the partner settings, Drive may identify travel links or show relevant offers. Travelpayouts and the booking provider may use cookies or similar technology under their own privacy notices. We do not receive your booking details from a click alone. Google Fonts is also loaded to display site typography.

Your choices

You can clear the saved planner match through your browser's site-data controls. You can leave the site without using the planner or partner links. For privacy questions or to request access, correction or deletion of information we hold, email privacy@goaalerts.com.

Changes

We will update this page if the site introduces new data uses, such as email planning or a different analytics provider.
